'06 Chevrolet Malibu

Offering civilized road manners and neat styling, the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu is a quality construction that comes from the Chevy stable to fill the mid-size import void in the US. The series is based on the company’s Epsilon platform, and is also available as a wagon with the Maxx option.

The 2006 Chevrolet Malibu traffic, and can comfortably accommodate five passengers. The top-end SS Maxx models this year feature a powerful 3.9 liter V-6 engine that churns out 240 horsepower, giving it a peppy ride with a sporty automatic shift option.

The series comes with a notable remote starter feature that allows a person to start the car from a distance in case of hot or cold days, enabling the engine to heat up before you enter the car.

'08 Chevrolet Malibu

Available in three variants, the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size sedan by Chevy to counter similar foreign imports. Available in LS, 1LT and 2LT trim levels, the '08 Malibu features three different engine options.

There is a 252 hp V-6 six-speed automatic transmission engine in the top-end 2LT model and 1LT model (optional), a hybrid engine with a BAS system, and the basic 2.4 liter V-4 Ecotec engine for base LS models.

The car has been given a new look this year, with larger legroom, plush, new interiors, added safety features and excellent selection of optional add-ons that have given a new look to the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.

This redesigned four-door front wheel drive has a wider wheelbase, a dual-port grille, new bow-tie emblem embedded headlights, a multi-link rear suspension, and a new dual-cowl dashboard with ambient lighting. This release makes it the best series of Malibu released so far. Safety features include ABS and airbags.

'05 Chevrolet Malibu

Chevy’s response to counter mid-size foreign imports, the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu is a solid mid-size sedan with practical features geared towards the medium price segment and offers affordability and great value for money.

The 2005 Chevrolet Malibu features two engine options – the base model comes with a 2.2 liter V-4 dual overhead cam Ecotec engine that delivers 144 hp while the high-end models feature a V-6 3.4 liter Ecotec that delivers 200 hp.

The series features rear drum brakes in the base model, and both LS and LT models come with Dynamic Rear Proportioning and ABS as standard features.

Dynamic Rear Proportioning is a new feature that adjusts the brake pressure between the front and the rear brakes, allowing for better control and braking over shorter distances.

The Malibu also features adjustable rear seating and excellent legroom due to a large 101 cubic feet of interior space. Higher end models also feature a remote start option that auto shuts off in 10 minutes.
